Expandable shelters (for those unfamiliar, expandable containers) are deployable structures ideal for field operations that require speed, flexibility, and ease of transport.

Our solutions are built with lightweight materials (unlike traditional containers) but feature a rigid, self-supporting structure; these shelters are designed to be quickly deployed and immediately operational as they travel with onboard medical equipment, offering a reduced setup time for field hospitals.

Thanks to ISO standard logistics systems, these shelters can be easily transported by land or air, including attachment to helicopters and transport via C130 aircraft. This ensures access to remote areas on semi-prepared or difficult-to-reach terrain.

The expandable shelters developed by Emergency Solutions combine innovation and interoperability, as we have designed these shelters with fold-down sidewall systems, creating greater internal height for improved comfort.

This design surpasses the limitations of traditional "box-in-box" systems, which, derived from military applications, often compromise the height of lateral expansions and, consequently, the functionality in medical applications.

Expandable System: The sidewalls open to become floors, offering superior internal height and space compared to standard shelters.

Strategic Materials: Made with steel profiles and lightweight alloy sandwich panels, these shelters are strong, resilient, and compliant with NATO, ACE, ISO, and WEU standards but derived from industry rather than the military sector, ensuring shorter delivery times.

Transport Versatility: Optimized for transport by land, air (including helicopters CH47 Chenook And aircraft C-130 Lockheed Hercules), and sea, making them perfect for use in various operational scenarios.

Suitable For: Environments where more operational space is needed, such as intensive care units, operating rooms, and infectious isolation units.
