Prefabricated Modular Steel Hospitals
Flexible Solutions for Modern Healthcare
Prefabricated modular steel hospitals represent a revolutionary solution to address contemporary healthcare challenges.
They differ from high-mobility hospitals because the modules travel disassembled and must be set up once at the destination. Once assembled, they cannot be moved by forklift like a shipping container but must be moved with their own hooking and handling systems.
Once the assembly is complete, homogeneous PVC flooring with a sanitary cove base is laid, and windows are installed, chosen based on the climatic zone. The walls can be made with smooth sheets in the client's preferred color and different types of internal insulation. The fire resistance rating that can be achieved with steel structures and intumescent paints is REI60. Only once the building is completed are the technological systems added.
The electrical system uses easily sanitizable rectangular conduits, which will be enclosed behind counter panels and flashing.
The care with which we do things takes a few weeks compared to the few days of deploying a high-mobility one.
These innovative healthcare environments offer unprecedented flexibility, allowing for rapid adaptation to changing hospital needs.
Imagine creating an entire hospital ward in a few days, possibly modifying or expanding it. Sounds like science fiction? With our prefabricated hospital modules, it's a reality.
The key to the success of these structures lies in their incredible versatility and ease of installation. The modules can be assembled and disassembled in record time thanks to a simple yet robust connection system based on bolts and nuts. This feature makes them ideal for emergencies and planned hospital renovations that require temporary but high-quality solutions.
Modularity is the beating heart of this system. Each module can be configured to meet specific medical needs, from radiology to operating rooms, from intensive care units to specialized laboratories.
Our experience ranges from creating a new magnetic resonance imaging unit at the Santa Maria delle Scotte Hospital in Siena to reconstructing the Radiology and CT department of the Norcia hospital after the earthquake.
But that's not all. Our modules' "flat-pack" configuration optimizes transportation and logistics costs, making these solutions accessible even in remote or hard-to-reach locations.
In an era where healthcare must be ready to respond to unforeseen challenges, prefabricated modular steel hospitals offer the flexibility and efficiency needed to ensure quality care in all circumstances.
Whether expanding an existing emergency room or creating a new specialized department, the possibilities are virtually limitless.
